1980's Blue Velvet Balloon Sleeve Jacket - Size Small
The most stunning 80's does 1930's style blue velvet jacket I've ever seen! The sleeves alone are a showstopper... the shoulders are padded and add just the right about of volume. The collar has gorgeous stitching detail, there are hidden plastic buttons down the front. The hem forms two points in the front, very flattering. The jacket is fully lined.
Label: No maker label, there is a dry clean only tag
Fabric: I believe silk velvet outer, the lining feels like a poly blend
Condition: Overall near excellent condition, as shown in the photos the inside of the lining at one underarm has repairs (not visible from the outside) and the inside of the fabric flap covering the buttons has some little tears (again not visible from the outside). Presents wonderfully!!
Measurements: I measure my items flat then double at the bust and waist, measurements in these areas have already been doubled. The jacket is shown on a mannequin with a 36" bust and 27" waist for reference.
shoulders- 15"
sleeves- 19 1/2"
bust- 34" buttoned and at rest, can measure to 36" but I would recommend 35" or smaller if wearing buttoned
waist- 29" around the bottom
length- 17" at the shortest, 19" at the points
