1940's Red Gaberdine Dress - Size S/M
Classic 1940's perfection. This dreamy red dress is made of rayon gaberdine (a divine fabric!!), it features a front metal zipper that is tucked behind some fabric, a pointed tip collar, lightly padded shoulders, a nipped waist, 2 deep hip pockets, lighter top stitching and some very flattering draped pleating on the bust and back. These are the style of dresses that can so easily be incorporated into a modern wardrobe. Dress this gal up or down, she's ready to hit the town!

Condition: Great with a new smaller cosmetic issues, there is a circle spot on the zipper flap about 6" down from the waist (its just a little darker than the dress and not that noticeable), back of the waist seam has a repair, there are about 3 pinholes on the back of the skirt. Presents wonderfully, freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
Measurements: I measure my items flat then double at the bust, waist and hips, measurements below have already been doubled in these areas.
shoulders- 15"
bust- 36-39" a bit flexible here with the pleating
waist- 27"
bodice length- 15" (shoulder to waist seam)
hips- 39", 40" max but that would be taut
length- 45"
