Vintage 40's/50's Black Moon Jacket - Size M
Vintage 40's/50's black gaberdine jacket with great line detailing on the bodice and over the shoulders. The jacket has an attached waist belt, you can tie in the front or drape at the back. The jacket has a green moon button (not original to the jacket but its an original 1940's button) and I added the green belt buckle since I liked the way it looked when worn in the back. The jacket is fully lined and has no closures, just the ties.
Label: No maker label, it does have a Consumers Protection label
Fabric: I believe this is a rayon gaberdine, nice mid-weight fabric
Condition: Excellent, some small seam repairs under the arm
Measurements: I measure my items flat then double at the bust, waist and hips, measurements below have already been doubled in these areas. The jacket is shown on a mannequin with a 36" bust, 26" waist and 36" hips for reference.
shoulders- no defined shoulder seam, approximately 16 1/2"
sleeves- approximately 22 1/2"
bust- up to 39" when draped closed, a but a bit flexible since there are no closures beyond the belt
waist- 27-35" depending on how you tie it
hips- up to 50"
length- 41"
